Our Plastic Injection Molding Process
1.Mold Design
This involves the development of a thorough mold design based on the requirements of the part to be built.
2. Mold Fabrication
It involves precision of components, quality of raw materials, and proper usage of CNC equipment to fabricate the mold.
3. Material Preparation
Plastic resin pellets are heated and then injected through the use of a ram or injector into the mold cavity.
4.Injection
The melted plastic material, i.e. molten polymer is forced into the mold cavity where it promptly fills the cavities and takes the shape of the required part.
5. Cooling
Whenever the plastic has set, and is ready in its final form,. After that, the shape is cooled.
7. Finishing
It is suitable in case there are other additional operations. These may include trimming or surface treatment, required on the part.
6. Ejection
When the temperature has come down to a level that the plastic hardens and sets, the mold is then released and the part is removed from the mold cavity.
8. Inspection
Every finished part is inspected to check if it corresponds to the appropriate quality and stipulated standards.
